The law offices of Legal Aid Service of Northeastern Minnesota (LASNEM) provide free legal advice and representation to low income people who live in Northeastern Minnesota. Our goal is to provide representation and legal services to as many clients as possible consistent with the most important needs of our clients.

LASNEM is a non-profit corporation and we do not charge for our services. At LASNEM, our attorneys provide basic protection by enforcing the law when our clients' rights are violated, by representing our clients' interests in obtaining changes in law where its effect is unjust, and by informing low income people of their legal rights and responsibilities.

WE WILL HELP YOU RESOLVE PROBLEMS WITH.....Housing, Government Programs, Family Issues, Consumer Disputes, Seniors' Issues and other legal matters involving the following:

Landlord/Tenant Disputes
